RULES & POLICY FOR HOTEL GUESTS

  • Check In time is 2:00pm.
  • Check out time is 11:00 am
  • Guest must be 18+year of age to rent a room.
  • Guest must not be local residence ie Middlesboro, H arrogate, Tazewell area.
  • Drivers License/Photo ID or legal picture ID document is required.
  • After check out time, the guest will be charged $10 per hour if still in the room or left the room with their
  • Over 4 people are not allowed to be in the room. It will cost $10 per person.
  • Guest may examine the room before checking-in.
  • Early check in fee may apply.
  • Once Checked in, money cannot be REFUNDED
  • Strictly No Visitors Allowed after 9pm. Room occupancy is limited to guests only.
  • No Parties,No Loud Music, No Loud talking are allowed. Guest may be asked to leave the hotel room without refund that applies to weekly rentals.
  • We do not accept Checks and American Express Cards.
  • All Occupants are responsible for their belongings including vehicle.
  • Damage to the room or lost/stolen items will be charged minimum $250 to the Guest by their credit card/cash or face the law enforcement .
  • Strictly no Cooking in the room.
  • Guest will be charged $250 for smoking in a non-smoking room. Guest can smoke at the back patio but avoid having smoke to go next door patio.
  • Pets must be declared upon check in. Pet fee will apply. Failure to declare any pets will result in immediate check out without refund or pet fee may double.
  • No Room service after 9pm.
  • Property is under security surveillance camera system 27/7 live.
  • The Cumberland Gap Inn has NO REFUND POLICY.
  • Front Desk Office closes at 11pm on weekdays and 12 am on the weekends.
  • Front Desk Office opens at 8am. Guest may drop the room keys into Key Drop Box outside the entry door.
  • We do not accept Personal checks or American Express Cards. However we do accept Business checks & Business American Express Cards from the Contractors with authorization signatures.
  • Pets must be attended by Pets owners. Excessive barking of pets will result in asking occupant to check out immediately with no refund.
  • Hotel has strict Pest Control Policy. All rooms are inspected before and after the rooms are made. Any claim for the bugs or bed bugs will not be accepted and there will not be refund. We then assume the bugs or bed bugs were brought in by the hotel guests.

GUEST CANCELATION OF THE RESERVTION POLICY

    • Guest Cancellation of a reservation must be done 48 hours prior to arrival.
    • Guest will be charged one night for not showing up on the reservation date.
    • Guest must make a special arrangement with the Hotel Manager if he/she plans to arrive at the hotel later then 11pm . Late arrival can make a special arrangement with Hotel Manager . The late arrival can be arranged.
    • Hotel phone number and Managers telephone numbers are posted on the entry door for anyone who arrives after hours. There will not be refund if the person do decide to leave the hotel without contacting Managers.
    • Please note that we do not accept any guest who arrives after 1am due to the staff shortage. It is important to call us at 423 869 3996 ext zero prior to 11pm.

AMERICAN WITH DISABILITY ACT-ADA

    • Cumberland Gap Inn takes the American with Disability Act very seriously.We have followings facilities at the hotel.

      • We have two Handicap rooms located at the Cumberland Gap Inn. The rooms are fully accessible to facilitate the Physically and Mental Challenge citizens.
      • The Handicap rooms are located at the ground floor accessible to the wheelchair.
      • Our staff members are the first one to help if needed for the Physically and Mentally challenge individuals.
      • We have handicap parking facility right in front of the Handicap room.
      • The rooms are very close to the Front Desk. That makes us easier to help the individuals with Physical and Mental Handicap conditions.
